we were unlucky in that there was a large group of teenagers running around banging doors and shouting after 1.30 am which woke us up

Felt like an abandoned place. Room was ice cold (booking.com informed with ‘important information’ at the very bottom that there’s no heating before November). Room was clean and bed was warm - good duvets. No shower curtain.

CZGBProprietor was very helpful even though we spoke no Italian and he doesn't speak English. Sadly we had to leave before breakfast as we needed to set out very early before the weather got too hot (pilgrims walking the Way of St Francis). We were still offered pastries and coffee before we left
It was the last night of the Festa so very noisy with music and fireworks. (Not the fault of the hotel)

The shower was extremely disappointing. The shower hose was squirting water out. The step at the bathroom door is a safety hazard. I fell and almost knocked my head
