Hotel Desiree

It was easy to walk into Sorrento and had a great view. They had a bottle of wine waiting for us on arrival. Having breakfast for the morning was nice.

You have to pay to use the beach. And it’s expensive. They have a DJ playing on the roof until midnight with a bar. To no surprise, we woke up to drunk people at 3am trying to find their rooms (one tried to get into ours). The air conditioning didn’t work well. The hallway outside our room smelled of cigarette smoke constantly and the rooms are old.

We stayed in the junior suite. Large windows overlooking the sea. We had a little balcony off to the side too. Bed was super comfy. Shower was nice and clean. Staff at the hotel were exceptional- esp Pasquale!!! The private beach with the restaurant was SO nice, too.

After I booked the junior suite, we decided to add an additional night to the beginning of our stay. We had to stay in another room as the junior suite was not available - that room was not the best. No overhead shower, no shower curtain, AC wasn’t working. If planning to stay here, definitely get an upgraded room!

Own private beach with lift. It’s authentic Italian. Daily breakfast included was fantastic. The restaurant views were magical.

The room was small however it really wasn’t an issue as everything else was fantastic.

Camera curata, peisajul de vis , o gradina minunata in spate , are acces direct la mare. Personalul foarte amabil , iar micul dejun bogat si variat.

It was great, very comfortable with amazing sea view and an elevator to the private beach! The hosts are the kindest, and the atmosphere is perfect
