Loved the location.

Wish there was a little fridge in the room

Second stay at Victoria house, this time in a different room, which was Room 1 on the ground floor. It was a real home from home, big bed with a tv, fire and a big rug (fire definitely wasn’t needed) decent size bathroom with a shower and bath. I loved the windows with the wooden shutters too. Hosts were lovely and allowed us to check in early. I also loved the fact they leave you a bottle of sherry and some Blenheim waters, it’s the little touches! The location is PERFECT. Would stay again.

A couple of minor things, the kettle was a bit of a hazard. Got in the room at about 10pm after dinner and fancied a brew, as I picked up the kettle it was boiling hot, with no water in and an industrial smell, not the end of the world but it was left on a switch so was constantly hot which could’ve caused a bigger issue if not caught, the hosts were alerted and have sent the kettle to be tested to ensure it’s safe. The only other minor thing was one rob was kept in a bag and had flakey not been used, the robe on the hanger however was ruffled up and seemed used, but again no big issue as only I used the robe out of the two of us.

Beautifully presented, great location

Size of the room, not conducive to the needs of travellers due to minimal storage space. Whist I was aware of the separate bathroom, it wasn't clear that it was not attached to the room and required crossing a hallway to enter - not great in the middle of the night. The owner did offer to move us at an additional cost.

Located right in the village. Easy walking distance to bus service and restaurants.

The location was perfect, really central, very easy to access the property with the codes. Communication with staff was very easy and quick!

We booked a room with a bath but I didn’t realise it was a bath only, no shower, my fault!!

Nice small house with retro vibe on every step. I like the interier so much. The bathroom was very clean and big. The location is prefect for exploring the small town.

I din't like that we need extra "code" for the bathroom entry. The bathrom is next door so it is very close to the room and was not the problem at all. Only if you forget code in the middle of the night ;)
