SNOW PEAK FIELD SUITE SPA HEADQUARTERS

This hotel is fantastic, the design n facilities are really good, service is excellent.

The location is not convenient, if hotel can provide pick up service at the JR station wl be even better.

We loved our stay at Snowpeak. The location, views and onsen are just spectacular particularly in the snow. The rooms are very comfortable. The main restaurant is as great (service, wine knowledge etc). Staff kind and helpful. Welcoming to our son with cots, highchairs and great children’s meals. Nice Japanese wine included in the free room minibar. A great experience and would go back.

Not much. The breakfast is a beautiful but only option is a Japanese bento. The room is lovely but showing signs of wear (eg mouldy wooden bath/stool) and not many inclusions for the price (eg no snacks, nice bath amenities etc). Note also the (wonderful) store on site is shut certain days also.

Beautiful and onsen access for guests was well appreciated (even ok with tattoos)

Lack of public transport now that the bus no longer runs. The non fish/seafood meal was very disappointing.

Cosy, beautiful surroundings and interior design Built on the traditional Japanese bath and added modern design elements, including an ice bath and woodfired sauna. Brought glamping to a while new level.

The price is quite steep, but still worth it for those looking for an experience like no other.
