The hotel was located near to all tourist attraction. The view of chokling monastry in golden hours added more to the charm.

I did not like the property at all It costed me almost 5k per night for a bedroom and the cleanliness was just 0 There were flies in bathroom, the window of bathroom was open There was no wifi The TV was not working Room’s window was not closing No condiments were given The bathroom’s door had a see through hole

Chokling Arthouse is probably the best property in terms of the quality of stay in Bir. It’s beautifully designed, everything and every decor is insanely intentional. Unlike other “Arthouses”, this one actually holds its name up- Every painting and piece is done by an artist that was passing by, and stayed here, including the pieces done by the resident artist, Sarthak. Its a beautiful retreat for artists and humans seeking a blissful place in Bir. The dorms are very backpacker friendly and affordable and do not compromise on comfort at all, the studio rooms are designed, again, with intention and give out the views of dhauladhar and the chokling monastery. The monastery triples the experience and serenity of the arthouse, there’s always kids playing around, and people meditating. Evening are beautiful here with probably the best sunset in bir second to landing site. This is the best bir has to offer and i was so glad i came here and met some amazing people and especially the manager, Shashank. He is sweet and hospitable and will tell you stories the more you talk. And at last, the food is really really good, especially the chai. Even after moving out from here, we came to the cafe for teas almost every evening.
