"It felt like home."

This was easily one of my favourite places that I have ever stayed at. The location was very convenient, the room was comfortable, the house is over 100 years old, and it had so much character and charm!

really lovely landlord, helped a lot and always in a god mood. nice traditional building, in a quiet corner of gion. I wish I could stay longer.

if you have loud and rude guests in the room next to yours, it can become noisy. but that’s also the charm of this old buildings.

"Amazing traditional experience in Kyoto"

In a good location in Kyoto. The highlight was staying in a traditional style japanese house in a traditional city. Owner was very friendly and nice to talk to.

The owner didn't know about the booking, not sure if there was a notification issue from the website
