Hotel Bellonda

location is good, 5 min from the beach, 15 min from center.

Breakfast is very poor, rooms are old, bed is very uncomfortable and u can hear everything what’s happening outside the room and sometimes it’s very noisy.

Breakfast was lovely, outdoors under the plane trees. Staff excellent, very helpful with bike hire provided by hotel; parking, etc

I usually come to Forte dei Marmi three or four times per year. Find a good hotel is always difficult: I think hotels in this location has the worst value for money ratio ever... We discovered Hotel Bellonda and we think it is above average. The location and the building are great: Roma Imperiale is the most prestigious neighborhood of the town and is quiet and trendy at the same time. The hotel has a great garden with a depandance where breakfast is served. Room was in line with other hotels in the area: not really a 4*, cheap furniture, small TV, but it was clean and large .The bathroom was small but it had a window. What really is above average is the service: it is almost impossible to find a place in Forte dei Marmi where you can do late check-out or where you can have breakfast served till 12.30! We really appreciated that Moreover, staff is very polite and this is still unusual for this town. Bicycles are available at 5 Euro per day: fair enough. I think Bellonda is a good deal. Suggestions: breakfast is quite below average for a 4* hotel.

Last minute decision and it had to be Versilia. Which is a regular stop. Chose Bellonda for it's location. It delivered that. But little else. Asked for a quiet room when booking and upon arrival. Given one immediately above front door and driveway (gravel) entrance. Surprise expressed at discontent! After being pressed another easily located in rear (closed) building. Breakfast was too poor to stay for. Charged for bike rental. No double mattresses. Yes Forte dei Marmi has it's quirks. And it's end of the season. But business is business. And at EUR170 night it's reasonable to expect more than bare essentials and cleanliness. This is Italy after all. Full of design and passion. La dolce vita. We stay in many varied other places where Italian proprietors understand value for money and customer service. Am sorry that Bellonda could do so much better. If it wanted to...
