Beautiful boutique hotel in a great location, within easy walking distance to the river front and restaurants. The staff were very kind. The small pool area is perfect for a quick dip to cool off. Dey arranged a couple of tours; really loved the pepper plantation and seeing the salt fields. Many comments about the firm beds; yes they are firm, but not uncomfortable. The rooms are large and have all the necessary things to make your stay comfortable.

The food was not great. No bedside tables. No rubbish bin. A lot of stairs so not good for anyone with mobility issues.

The location was a major point for me. A short walk to the Riverside, bars and restaurants.

Great location and very clean staff were all brilliant

Nicely presented with old artefacts. The pool was lovely and cool - and we always had it to ourselves. Open and airy spaces. Short walk to many restaurants and the riverfront. Staff were polite and efficient and Mr Day was very helpful in arranging tours for us.

No elevator so we had to carry our own large, heavy suitcases up several flights of stairs. Would have been ok if they had a Porter to help us. The breakfast menu was limited but tasty. Bed was a bit hard for me but my hubby thought it was perfect.
