Villa Des Pitons

The West Indian architecture, the fantastic Chef Bojo, the professional, friendly and attentive staff made the experience amazing. Skip the resorts and get a real feel for St. Lucian culture, food and hospitality. It is built in the hillside, and has an absolutely majestic view of the Pitons, the town of Soufriere and the Caribbean Sea ... it is just breath-taking. This unique place seems to be perfectly designed for outdoorsy/athletic types that won't mind the absence of an elevator! Didn't take advantage of the pool, hot tub or gym as Soufriere had too many things to explore. Loved the originality of the hotel's design, decor and local artwork. I have already recommended it to friends!

One of the best views of the bay and pitons in the valley. It's a bit out of town (15 minutes walk uphill) but they offer a free taxi service to and from the sea front. The staff and manager are all extremely friendly and helpful but it's a bit quiet during the night if want someone nearby. The rooms are spacious, have mosquito nets, and well done out for the price though take some mosquito repellent as the door frames have gaps in them. It's not a modern luxury hotel but it's a very good hotel for the price paid.

My stay at the villa was extremely amazing and one to remember. The rooms were large very clean and tidy. It was so nice waking up and seeing the view of the two famous Pitons every morning. The breakfast was exceptional by the chef Bojo and the staff was awesome. The owner, Michael is so friendly and very welcoming. Michael also has a lovely restaurant on the Waterfront which isn't too far from the villa. The pizzas are to die for😍😍. It was also easy to book trips and tours with the villa. It's close to town of Soufriere and Sulphur Springs. I highly recommend this Villa to everyone great place to stay..

My wife and I visited St. Lucia this past August with another couple. We stayed at the Villa des Pitons. The room was clean and spacious having a loft for the bedroom. We enjoyed the home like amenities of the fridge, sink and hot plate. The owners put us in contact with a few locals who had a boat taxi and island tour. We were only there for a few days, but they arranged for us to have a full experience with the taxi tour, mud baths, mineral springs, and of course the local eateries. Oh, and speaking of eating, the breakfast provided was gourmet with locally grown fruits and veggies prepared with a traditional flair. If you are lucky enough to travel during mango season, you can pick your own on the property, with a little determination of course ;)! And don't forget to ask for the cocoa tea!

Our stay at Villa des Pitons was unforgettable. We had an amazing view of the Pitons from our bedroom balony. The property/our room was clean and spacious. The owner, Michael and his staff were welcoming and helpful. Michael welcomed us to his restaurant on the waterfront for food and drinks which is where we spent a few of our evenings. Definitely be visiting again! Would highly recommend to my friends

We stopped here as part of our island tour with Royal Caribbean. A warm welcome given by the staff. A Buffett Lunch was provided with lots of local dishes, with spectacular views of the local area and famous mountains. WiFi didn’t work at all but otherwise an excellent lunch and good stop off for the trip.

We spent 4 nights in this hotel. When we arrived at 5pm the hotel was locked up and no one around. We returned an hour later to find someone to finally check us in. Our room... although clean, had many things we were not happy with: 1... Only room service on our 1st night. 2... We felt insecure as the place seemed like the 'Marie Celeste ' during the evening and through the night. 3... After one shower in the evening, there was no water left even to flush the toilet until next morning. 4.... No pool as promised at the time of booking. 5.... WiFi not good... We had to ask at one point to switch it on. TV not working. 6... No drinks/food offered or available other than breakfast. 7... Such a long trek up stairs to our room. This is not the place for anyone who is unfit! The positives..... Wonderful breakfasts & the views! Although we requested to speak to Michael the owner and spent time talking to him, his explanation was to say he had many other 'projects' and was sorry for all the problems we encountered, that still didn't compensate us for the dreadful stay. He offered us 60% off a future stay but as we won't be coming back to St Lucia again, this on reflection was not good enough. I have stayed for $US 14 in other hotels throughout the world with better facilities. I feel the price charged by Michael doesn't match up to his charges. Perhaps alarm bells should have rung when we found we were the only people staying here. The hotel seems to focus on lunches for the cruise ship market and forgets any hotel guests & their needs. This is such a beautiful 'quirky' hotel with lots of potential... a pity, it is so neglected.

This Villa des Pitons is a great location for good sampling of local dishes and an unobstructed view of the Piton mountains. Close to the town of Soufriere and Sulphur Springs. Friendly staff and great venue. Recommend trying the breadfruit salad.

The Villa strives to give a personal touch. They go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable and well taken care of. The rooms are very spacious. The food is excellent and the views are breathtaking.

Michael and his wonderful staff made it the best vacation ever. It was exceptional in ever way and Chef Bojo is the best, Gavin, Mark, the entire staff team was awesome. If you need to decompress and have a wonderful time with no worries. THIS IS IT!!! You wake up to a beautiful view and it starts from that point. Thanks Michael (Owner), you did the dang thing. I highly recommend the Villa Des Pitons to each and everyone reading this. Don't just read this, go and experience it.
