Of course the view was great but we also loved everything about this property. The staff were lovely. The breakfast was great. The rooms were new and clean. Was no building works going on as seen in other comments (we were in the new rooms). Great value for money. Lovely pool area

Nothing not to like

Good location and view from the pool is incredible. Staff very helpful and friendly. Good value. Shower had good pressure.

Air con was leaking which was annoying overnight.

Lankapura is a real treasure. The location is unbeatable in Sigiriya, with the swimming pool and the rooms facing the Lion Rock and lush paddy fields in between. We loved the Sri Lanka breakfast and just sitting in the dining area, facing the rock, having breakfast immersed in nature is the perfect way of starting the day. The staff is very attentive, kind and professional. We would have stayed one more night, but unfortunately all the rooms were already booked. Definitely recommend.

Staff were very helpful, location was excellent close to lions rock, excellent views over rice field with lions rock in the background, good sized pool, delicious breakfast (especially the coconut pancake)

The bed sheets did not look like they had been cleaned properly with stains particularly heavy on the back pillows.

Awesome view, pool, staff, breakfast food and room. 5-10 mins walk to restaurants.

Bumpy side road to get there which our van driver didn’t really like.

Highlight is the pool with an incredible view of the sigiriya rock even from your room and the garden. It’s a small building complex which makes it nicely quiet overlooking the rice fields . Staff is very very thoughtful and breakfast is very good and served on a terrace with perfect views .
