Villa Lala Boutique Hotel Adults Only

The room was amazing, clean and the view was beautiful. The actual grounds were also very nice.

The food was not consistent, cold, wrong delivery of meal several times. Language barrier was poor hints the reason we never received the meal we ordered. If dining on their patio/deck it would take one to one & half hours for meal and no one would get their meal at the same time. By the time one would receive their food the other person would be done. All your drinks & meals are automatically added to your room and we never signed a ticket so at the end you have to trust that everything you drank or ordered was correct. I suggest paying cash or asking for a ticket so you have an accountability on your daily purchases. The villa lala was in a small village that was very poor, to walk to Boco was difficult road to walk & dirty. Not a lot of choices for lunch or dinner. Old town/downtown was half hour away.

Wifi in te room was not working all the time. The ceiling fan was noisy.

This place is beautiful. The grounds are so beautifully landscaped and the natural setting is amazing. We stayed in the main house with a beautiful view but the other rooms we toured were stunning with much better views.

The only thing we wished was different was the ocean swimming. There were so many boats going back and forth to Boca that the water in the bay was a bit difficult to swim in- we tried to snorkel one day but the waters were murky and churned up. This of course was out of the hotel’s control. The food while tasty was not gourmet it was however good value.
