Location was perfect, staff very kind and helpful. Comfortable bed. Hotel was simple and cozy . Breakfast very good and well served

Excelente el trato de todo el personal. El desayuno es delicioso, fresco y lo preparan en el momento. El hotel es hermoso y al estar un poco alejado de la zona de mayor movimiento es muy tranquilo. Se puede descansar y dormir muy bien.

No hay agua caliente pero en ningún hotel de cartagena.

Las instalaciones en general en muy malas condiciones. La habitación y el baño muy regular. Las toallas viejas y desgastadas. No había champú y acondicionador en el baño.

This hotel is really cute - very colonial architecture, charming facility, located within the colonial walled city but about a block off the beginning of the busier tourist activity, so a little more peaceful (and one would assume, quieter, but see "didn't like" below). The staff were super - the manager Jose Julio was very friendly and helpful, e.g., arranging a driver for us. The breakfasts were good, served by friendly staffers. There is a pool - a bit chilly for my taste but my wife swam and we all enjoyed drinks and conversation in the poolside courtyard. The whole experience (minus the noise) was just charming.

Cartagena seems like a party city - maybe especially in January, when we were there. So some background music was to be expected and wasn't particularly objectionable. Apparently, however, the hotel is located right next door to an event center (also an old colonial building, seemingly with shared walls) where an event was scheduled 11 p.m. to 3 a.m. on Saturday night, the last night of our stay. The music wasn't just loud - it was pounding, the kind of noise level that produces literal throbbing in your body. Complaints to the event organizers and police resulted in some diminution of the volume (the throbbing was controlled) but still awfully tough to sleep. The truly aggravating aspect, however, was the hotel's total indifference to the situation and unwillingness to try to alleviate the noise levels. Admittedly, this sad situation was exacerbated by language barriers - our very limited Spanish (and some in our party were only able to try to communicate by speaking English louder - which probably had negative effects) and the owner's total lack of English. But a fellow guest, a Colombian native, also tried reasoning with the owner, and they ended up in a shouting match. The next day we requested a refund, only for that last, intolerable night, from English-speaking staff, but were summarily ordered off the property by the owner's granddaughter. The last night marred a perfectly lovely stay. I couldn't recommend this hotel unless you are able to tolerate loud, late-night noise or know beforehand that no events are planned during your stay.

Agua do chuveiro não esquentou e mesmo apos reclamação o problema não foi solucionado.

El baño le falta mantenimiento se sale el agua de la ducha e inunda el cuarto , podrian mejorar el baño.
