Hotel Arlara

Beautiful location and great staff! Manuele was really friendly and served us well. Every evening a delicious salade buffet followed by a 4 course menu, the dishes were served fast enough we did not have to wait long, perfect. Beautiful pool! Some hiking routes starting directly from the hotel. The surroundings were quiet, we slept very well :)

We had a fantastic stay. The staff were incredible, particularly Anna. The rooms are large and spacious with incredible views. The hotel is ideally placed with a local bus stop outside and loads of walking routes from the hotel. The spa facilities were unbelievable, even better than the photos. The 4 course evening meals were Michelin star worthy. I would highly recommend and will definitely be back!

Limited choices

1 No chest of drawers to put clothing in. One would easily fit underneath where the TV is located 2 impossible to see what was on the shelves in the closet because there is no light! 3 no assistance with luggage We needed some assistance because my husband had recent surgery 4 The dinners were of inconsistent quality, and too much pork

Welcoming helpful staff. Whilst up the hill from Corvara there is a bus service to the hotel and guest bus tickets provided. It was relaxing having the pool and other facilities after being out in the day. Good quality food. Great views from our room. Would stay again.

This is a very beautiful hotel. Small and cozy but friendly, warm and inviting, and luxurious in an old-world European way, The spa and pool are gorgeous and so relaxing. The beds are comfortable, and the food is delicious, meticulously prepared, healthy, hearty and generous. It's located right at a chair lift to take you up for beautiful hikes on endless trails in the Dolomites with restaurants every 1.5 miles or so for drinks and Bavarian-style menu options. I can't recommend it enough for a nature-filled, relaxing mountain escape. The town and views are just gorgeous. Beware the drive up to Corvara in Badia is steep and on windy narrow roads for about 45 minutes. Really loved the salad bar every night I must add and the very friendly staff.

We would have loved a view from the room.

The food was simply delicious. The facilities were fabulous and the staff extremelty friendly, and the views just wonderful. Compared to another 3 star hotel we stayed at another place in Italy, Alara was miles better. The hill up to the hotel was a bit brutal on the bikes, but we found alternatives - no problem. I really cannot fault this hotel.

The hill to the hotel was rather steep ... but just take the bus!

The hotel was lovely. Great location and would be even more amazing in winter. The half-board was great value and the food was excellent. Breakfast had a great choice and the dinners were top notch. Rooms spacious, comfortable and clean. The pool and hot tub were also fabulous with amazing views.

Bit of walk into town (there is a bus) is the only small thing I can think of.
