Hospitality of the staff, bonfire arrangements

Cottage having 2 bed rooms having big cot/bed, 1 living room having big cot/bed, nice location and clean. The staff was also friendly. The manager guidance was also good.

They have tied up for breakfast with neighbouring restaurant. The quality of food was OK there but there were many people came and we had to be in the queue. The people used to come from different lodges. So this has to be improved.

We had an excellent stay. The location, the facilities, and the staff—everything was superb. Since we visited during the peak season, the cost was moderate. The lodge owner spoke to the customers in an excellent, kind, and affectionate manner; furthermore, he provided detailed and accurate information in response to all their questions. Thank you & keep it up.

It is my humble opinion that extending the permissible duration of stay to 24 hours (check-in/check-out) would be of immense assistance to many—indeed, I view the current arrangement as a shortcoming. It would have been better if a larger number of plug points and switches had been provided for charging.

We had a good stay at Hotel Sri Balaji in Ooty in the month of March. The weather was cold from late evening onwards but the days were hot. The hotel is located just about 2kms away from the commercial places of Ooty such as Charring cross and market. It is also quite close to the main road with good restaurants nearby. The hotel provides all required facilities such as 24hours hot water ,TV, Kettle and clean beddings. The rooms and washroom are spacious and very clean. There is ample space even in Deluxe rooms unlike many places which are small. Tea and coffee can be ordered through room service. Breakfast is provided at the restaurant few blocks in front of the stay. South Indian options such as Dosa, Poori and Idli were provided and everything tasted good. The caretaker Mr.Manoj was available to arrange whatever we needed and service was impeccable. The owner Mr.Pradeep checked with us regarding arrangements to ensure that everything was okay. A small improvement that we requested was to improve the stairs for first floor rooms as they were slightly difficult to climb for elders. Overall highly recommended stay option in Ooty.

They don't have their own restaurant. The complimentary breakfast was not ok..
