Good facilities and restaurant

I spend more than 4 hours in total trying to get an answer about why WIFI was disabled in the room. They promised repair it on the next morning which they did. However the signal did not reach inside the room. So there is not WIFI in the room as they claim in this website. Hot water only the first minute.

The resort is based on a 2000 acre plantation and this I think is the best part. The resort manager took us on a jeep safari through the plantation and this was for me the highlight of our stay.

The rooms are basic and we struggled with warm water. The wifi signal was terrible and the service was a bit lacking - may be coz we were just at the end of the tourist season but everything was slow and delayed.

We really appreciated the scenary and friendliness of the staff. Extraordinary viewpoint at the property which is accessible by walk. We enjoyed the complimentary tour of the tea factory.

Inconsistent hot water in shower.

Stay at Misty Mountains definitely exceeded our expectations. The place itself has a lot to offer to the people staying there, including beautiful surrounding nature, birds and falling water sounds, spices and tea tours, hiking routes, and even bird watching. The helpfulness and friendliness of the staff were exceptional and the food was amazing. If you are planning to visit Thekkady or will be cruising around this area, most definitely consider spending one or two nights at the Misty Mountains Experience.
