The location was fantastic and our room was beautiful. The breakfast great, and the welcome glass of wine was really appreciated.

Lack of anywhere for toiletries.

Authentieke prachtig ingerichte grotkamer op een superlokatie midden in het pittoresque historische centrum van Matera. Heel stijlvol verblijf. Heerlijk groot kingsize bed met zalig kraakschoon beddegoed We bevelen de winetasting zeker aan! Ook de shuttleservice was zeer goed geregeld!

Dat de koffie en thee faciliteiten op de kamer tegen extra betaling worden aangeboden. Dat zou voor deze kamerprijs inbegrepen moeten zijn. Je verblijft in een grot dus het kan glad zijn na het douchen ( ik was uitgegleden)

Uma experiência maravilhosa do início ao fim. O Palazzotto combina charme, conforto e autenticidade em um dos lugares mais especiais que já visitamos. A equipe foi extremamente gentil e acolhedora, e a localização é perfeita para explorar Matera. Tornou nossa estadia ainda mais inesquecível. Recomendo sem hesitar!

Son emplacement, en plein cœur de Matera!

L’humidité dans la chambre mais c’est une grotte alors il faut s’y attendre. Cependant, l’expérience est tellement agréable que ce n’est pas si pire au final.

Stunning accommodation. Clean & beautifully appointed. Staff were friendly, professional & helpful. Breakfast was fantastic & a great start to the day. So close to all of Matera’s wonderful restaurants & incredible attractions. Could not rate this property any higher.

The reception on arrival and being able to leave bags pending formal check in was great. Staff were very friendly, professional and helpful. The arrival drink on the terrace was very welcomed. The breakfast buffet was fantastic and well laid out in an atmosphere deserving of Matera. Located right in the heart of Matera main street and easily accessible by transfer vehicle to drop off bags on arrival. A lovely deck / terrace area with views of houses above.

The bathroom facilities were disjointed with the vanity sink/basin and mirror (the mirror had lost much of its shine due to discolouration and was difficult to see reflection) tucked into a small corner outside of the bathroom proper. Although there was another mirror in the room this was adjacent the bed and not ideal for when brushing teeth, shaving or applying make up. There was a small amenities bench and mini bar located in what was the logical location for a vanity next to the shower and keeping all bathroom facilities separate from the main bedroom. Perhaps utlities and plumbing/electrics prevented this but if possible, a suggested enahancement when next renovated.
