Room is nice and clean.

The beds could be a little more comfortable.

We stayed here for our wedding anniversary, the most special hotel with a beautiful room in the traditional cave setting of Matera. Our suite was beautiful, the location was amazing with beautiful views across the sassi. We also purchased one of the bottles from its own winery which was delicious, great memories made in a perfect setting.

The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and always smiling. The breakfasts were very good, and the hotel’s decor was unique and interesting, bed very comfy

We had ants in our room, and instead of offering us a room change, the staff only sprayed some kind of anti-insect product. On one day, there was no hot water, and since it wasn’t summer, taking a shower was far from pleasant. Considering the hotel’s standard and price, I expected these issues to be handled much better.

Bufet samoobsługowy z produktami wytrawnymi (np. wędliny, sery, focaccia, jajecznica i jajka gotowane) i na słodko (różnego rodzaju ciasta i ciastka), płatki śniadaniowe, świeże owoce. Herbata, soki i najlepsza kawa cappuccino jaką piliśmy w ciągu tego wyjazdu do Włoch. Zachwycające wnętrze jadalni zaaranżowane w grocie o pięknym podświetleniu. Wszystkie wnętrza hotelu są piękne i unikalne - unowocześnione groty i kamienne przestrzenie z współczesnymi udogodnieniami. Na powitanie w lobby przy recepcji poczęstowano nas bardzo dobrym winem i focaccią, to było bardzo miłe. Personel w hotelu był na najwyższym poziomie, życzliwy i pomocny. Hotel jest bardzo dobrze położony w centrum historycznego Sassi, można dojechać pod drzwi taxi. Własny samochód trzeba zostawić na parkingu poza Sassi. Dobry punkt startowy do zwiedzania Matery. Bezpiecznie nocą.

The staff were amazing. Location was excellent as the sitting areas right in front gives one of the best views of the sassi. Breakfast setting in the cave was very special and unique. Room was interesting.

It would be good if room slippers were provided.

There was little light in the bathroom, the room was missing a good mirror, and the shower had no place to put shampoo or soap.

L’emplacement est parfait pour visiter Matera, le verre de vin en guise de bienvenue et le personnels est vraiment très gentils et très avenants.

L’équipement de salle de manque un peu de confort surtout au niveau de la douche. Mais ce n’est rien de bien grave.

Light at bathroom sink is minimal and should be increased as tasks like removing contact lenses can become quite difficult if there isn't much light.
