Very good cost performance. Staff was kind. Transport ticket in the valley was included. Generally old facilities but clean. Salad buffet at dinner was excellent.

Nice, basic room with balcony that offers a view at the center (glimps of the Welsberg church), very friendly staff in this family run hotel. Excellent ratio price-quality.

"It wasn’t hell, just an average stay"

The location of Hotel Hell was perfect for us as we wanted to visit Lago di Braies early next morning. The lake is just a 20 minute drive. The beds are comfortable and the staff is friendly.

The bathroom is dated (kind of funky tiles though). However, you have to shower in the bathtub, without a shower curtain. This means the water goes everywhere. There is also just one sachet of soap per person, which technically means you can only shower once. Not ideal if you’ve been hiking in the area. Also the hotel lobby opens up to a butcher (no doors in between). Quite a strong smell every now and then when entering the hotel, and for us being vegetarian and vegan (and we understand that this region isn’t that vegan-friendly yet) not that great.
