The location is paradise! You are on the beach while also in a beautiful hotel with two gorgeous pools! This place is stunning, very comfy room, helpful staff.

I do not normally write reviews but I feel like I have been pretty deceived by the reviews here and Booking keeps sending me reminders, so I thought I would share my disappointing experience, especially since this was our honeymoon (though we never mentioned this). We arrived before 3pm (check in time) and the room was not ready yet, which is fair enough (despite of me emailing the day before that we’d be coming around 11), but we eventually had to wait until about 3:30pm in unbearable heat. We wanted to order some snacks whilst we were waiting (two sandwiches with average taste and coffee), which took about 45 mins to arrive and we had gotten into the room by then. When we entered it, I couldn’t believe that this is what we had paid £1,500 (more than £200 a night) for and I had instant regrets - the room was super outdated, the bed was squeaky, the shower drain was slightly blocked so we had to stop the water running every few minutes, wall paint was chipping off and the door curtain was constantly in the way as the plug that was supposed to hold it was just about to fall out from the wall. The breakfast is also quite poor - 90% the buffet consists of cakes and there is nothing savoury if you don’t count bread. There are a few items on the menu which you can order (2 sweet options and not even sure if a fruit salad is considered a breakfast and 4 or 5 savoury ones). There is no fresh vegetables or fruit in the buffet apart from a few apples and peaches. I stayed in cheaper places that were much nicer, had an amazing breakfast buffet and had more value for the money. In addition, there has been a religious festival for 3 or 4 days right in front of the hotel so people were unable to park in the public parking, which is in front of the hotel too, but the hotel has got its own parking as well, which is for additional cost of €15 per night.

I was charged twice at this hotel! They debited my credit card at the time of booking, via PayPal. And at the time of checkout, they charged me again as per the payment receipt. I need to be refunded! Unbelievable, dishonesty!

Super clean room and excellent breakfast

Disappointed to find our room was in the building next door, had to study the small print to confirm this, not a boutique room more antique!
