The hotel's location was perfect! It's right across from Spiaggia di Riaci, which is an amazing beach. The hotel also has parking for guests, which is super convenient. Having breakfast with such a stunning beach view was a great experience. Dinner during sunset was just as amazing — truly a highlight of the stay.

Check-in took a while because the person at the front desk didn’t know how to handle pre-payments. If I hadn’t mentioned that the hotel had already charged 50% of the stay three days before my arrival, they would’ve charged me the full amount again (which actually happened to a friend of mine). Also, this pre-payment wasn’t mentioned anywhere on the hotel’s Booking.com page, so it was a surprise to see part of the cost charged ahead of time. I was given room number 13 — decent size, but no windows! The room definitely needs an upgrade; the furniture and decor are pretty outdated. The shower pressure was okay, and the bathroom was spacious enough. The air conditioning took a while to cool the room — maybe it needs maintenance?

Le tre stelle dell hotel non capisco dove li abbiano prese. Al massimo era un ostello . Non c’erano neanche gli infissi nelle finestre. Solo delle tapparelle di legno . Tutto arrangiato , dai materassi agli asciugamani vecchissimi , e le lenzuola cambiate solo una volta in una settimana . Per non parlare della musica nel bar a taccato. A pranzo scordatevi di dormire. Nel ristorante bassa qualità , a prezzi stellati . I panini del bar si salvano. Per non parlare del odore di fognature. Perché la struttura facieva anche da bagno publico per la spiaggia publica difronte . La baia stupenda, ma se volete riposare la vedo dura.

Highly overpriced from all points of view: the room, the beers at the bar (6.5 euro for a draft beer, 3 euro for a beer that is 1-2 euro elsewhere). There was no shower gel in the bathroom, and the soap dispenser was rather empty. The beach is public, and therefore there's a 1 euro fee for using the showers and 20 euro for the umbrella+sunlounges,, which was surprising. The view of the sea is fantastic, but this is definitely not the place to go if you want quiet evenings in your room. The music from the bar was going on and on and on from morning to night. You get the atmosphere of a camping place, for the price of an upscale hotel. The area around the hotel looked very improvised. Our room was near a contraption that consisted of an electrical circuit cooled off with a ventilator under a sun umbrella, and we were constantly afraid of a short circuit. On the other side of the street from the hotel, the area looked like squatters were living there

The location and proximity to the beach are incredible. You have a bar, lunch, and supper right out your door. You can book boat tours on the beach in front of you as well. You will need to rent a car for sure, it isn't close to any trains. You will want a car to explore and go into Tropea anyway. The sunsets are pretty incredible as well

Sul mare, posto straordinario e prima colazione soddisfacente

Stanza un po’ rumorosa al passaggio delle auto. Purtroppo al momento del pagamento non mi è stata data la possibilità di scegliere il metodo di pagamento. Nessuno mi ha chiesto in anticipo come volessi pagare, e alla reception hanno preteso esclusivamente il contante, cosa che ho trovato poco trasparente e scomoda. Sarebbe stato più corretto informare prima il cliente sulle modalità accettate.

The location can’t be beat if you want an awesome beach experience. We’ve been to a lot of beaches and this was our favorite. The sand is rocky, but the water is pristine and so blue, there is great snorkeling writhing swimming distance and cliff jumping. Awesome staff, very friendly. There was an issue with the way our property was booked, the age of our two teen daughters was listed as two babies and the staff was super kind about it and modified the room right away so our kids each had their own bunk bed. We loved it here and would totally come back! Thanks for a great experience.
