Hotel Alpino Plan

I wished I would have stay longer! This place is not just an incredible value but has the friendliest staff in the area. Great location, just a hope, skip and a jump down to the shops and Condola that will whisk you up to the beginning of your hike. This area is rich in history and beaty and staying at Hotel Alpino was just the icing on the cake. Did I mention the amazing food? This family run hotel offers amazing dinners too, prepared by a chef has great knowledge of the Italian and German cultures. I was just blown away by the four course meals and usually took a picture of the menu to send home to jealous family members and friends. 😉 My single room overlooked the mountain range and though I was above the street, the door to the balcony blocked off, almost all of the street noise, which was amazing. This was just the medicine I needed after four nights in Venice during a heatwave. I do hope to return someday. Thank you again family and a special shout out to Lila who really helped me get my bearings, told me all about the history of the hotel (it was her grandparents), and step-by-step directions how to take a bus to Cortina D’ Empezzo. Thank you so much for the great hospitality !

Too firm a bed for me but others may like that style.

Staff was very good and let me leave my bag there over night while I stayed in a hut

Very clean room and spacious bathroom. Bathtub was very nice. Nice little balcony with Mountain View. Free parking and breakfast was very nice. Only 15 min drive to lake Sorapis

No lift and we had two big suitcases.

Enjoyed the history and ambience of this traditional family run hotel, it’s a great base to explore the Dolomite’s.

In room fridges would be a great addition.
