Hotel du Commerce

Friendly environment and excellent meal.

We have been at this hotel at least six times before and it is very comfortable and meets our needs.

We drove a lot of miles to revisit one of our favourite hotels and eat their delicious food. Unfortunately when we arrived we found the hotel restaurant was closed for a week for ‘conges’. Everyone is due a holiday but why didn’t they mention it when we booked. Very disappointed.

No air conditioning, noisy, no breakfast as promised

We ordered breakfast the night before. When we came down in the morning they said we couldn’t have it cos we hadn’t booked and they didn’t have enough. Pretty disgusting.

A very good location for cycling on the Bourgogne canal. The restaurant, when open, was very good.

The restaurant was closed for two of the three nights we were there (both breakfast and dinner). This was not made clear during the booking process and there was little else available in the area. The hotel did not communicate with us prior to our arrival when we sent questions about meals. No one checked us in, just a note and the key left on the front desk for us to find on our own. The room and bathroom were dusty.
