Hotel MEDITERRANEO

Nous avons eu trois alarmes intempestives la nuit. Impossible de dormir. Et le problème était connu car message reçu dans les 5 minutes. Aucun dialogue avec le propriétaire qui n'a jamais répondu à mes messages ! Ayant voyagé 4 mois en Europe dans 15 pays différents ; cela a été le pire hôtel ...

Self check in

There were tea making facilities in the room. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. Entry to the building was easy with door code and there was good secure bicycle parking in a garage across the road. It was quiet.

The room was quite small. The breakfast was adequate but the coffee was 'stewed'. Our room looked into a very unappealing wall (not really the 'inner courtyard' described) and seemed rather gloomy. We could not request a alternative room on check-in as all communication was electronic with no actual staff available for discuss such matters. It felt rather sterile and impersonal.

Another faceless place run by an investment company I’m guessing! Poor communication and no staff. Tried calling the emergency contact number which went to an answer machine! This was the worst place and most expensive place we stayed in 25 nights cycling the Danube!

The room smelt of cigarettes, cheap furniture and fittings, grubby shower. Don’t be fooled by the photos showing kitchen facilities for what they call suite 20. There are no facilities to self cater.

Food

Great breakfast, right in a centre. Appreciate the option to store bikes next door, el. availabe to charge the battery.
