Moonlight Villa

This is a very acceptable accommodation for someone who is comfortable with a older, modest hotel. The location is excellent for doing walking tours of PP. The staff were friendly and helpful for what little help I required. I feel the value for the money is very good.

There was nothing I did not like.

Good location

Cockroaches in room. Room with no windows, aircon not working, litteral hole in the wall in the bathroom from where you can hear kitchen workers

Someone broke into my room and stole a lot of money, I suspect the staff I found my room door open when I returned after dinner and found 10,000 baht gone and also $300 Staff said they couldn’t see anything on camera

Only the location..and maybe the reception staff..nothing else..

Oh..where to start..when we entered the room..it was like Ok..we have opted for a low budget room..this is fine as per that..but then there was no fan..only a standing fan..which was giving very little aur..then the washroom door was broken..the room was not clean AT ALL.. so yes..we just survived till we got the night bus..

The manager of the hotel is super kind. He let us check in early when we needed to. I enjoyed talking to him. He liked to teach us some Khmer words. The rest of the staff is nice too. The lighting was very nice in the room. The light kind of made a lotus flower on the celing. You could choose if you wanted white light, yellow light, or daylight.

The toilet got plugged so easily. The first night I take credit as my fault because I forgot that you should not flush toilet paper in toilets here because they probably aren't built to handle it, but it kept happening even after that. It was plugged the entirety of our stay, and it was stinking up the whole room. There was no fridge in the room which was no surprise, but it still would have been nice to have one. The A/C did not work at all. On the second night, we tried to turn it on, and we had to literally climb on the bars over the windows to reach it, just to pull it apart and click the hidden button. The uneartly sound that came out of that box would make you think that there would be some sort of output of cool air, and there was for a few minutes until it started to even out. It was SO hot in the room. We spent two nights in this hotel.

It is very central, so convenient to get to the main things in the centre.

Dirty room and bed, loud, and the staff was not exactly on top of things. Party location, but not a hostel to choose if you are not interested in parties.

Great location, its cheap have a nice bar downstairs so you can eat and have food there.
