Beautiful historic villa in a quiet location within easy access of Ahangama’s beaches and centre. The property is beautiful: architecturally stunning, with rambunctious gardens and a gorgeous pool area. Breakfasts were great, too.

Very little! It was a beautiful place to stay. Only criticism would be that there was a kid’s sticker stuff to one piece of furniture in my room, and another on the floor in the bathroom. Not a big problem but probably worth removing!

Good breakfast and friendly staff.

Due to the architecture and style of the house, you have to expect cockroaches, other insects and lizards. Our room did not even have an insect net over the bed, which is uncommon especially given these circumstances and the high price.

Everything was good. Lovely place, and great food. The staff was really nice. Rooms were great too. Clean bathrooms.

They should keep Mortein or some bug repellant spray in the bathrooms, as sometimes at night some cockroaches come to the bathroom.

We only stayed for one night but the staff were incredibly helpful. We had to leave at 6am the next day and we had a packed breakfast to take with us. The room was stunning and very clean. The communal areas were also lovely and kept well, and we had a traditional curry cooked for us which was honestly one of the best meals I had in Sri Lanka. Such a beautiful spot not far from the coast! Highly recommend!

We loved the service, it was great at all times. Very attentive personnel, kind and helpful. The room was very spacious and clean.

During friday night we could hear very loud party music coming from a nearby place.
