Rooms were comfortable. View good.

On arrival the room was dirty and we believed the sheets hadnt been changed since the last guests. After some convincing we managed to get the sheets changed. And our local guide was able to communicate to the owner to clean the room. The hotel has potential but the housekeeping let's it down. Since booking the hotel... we've read somebody else had a similar experience 1 week ago.. due to our lack of faith in the general care and cleanliness we decided not to eat at the hotel.

The staff was friendly, It was worth for the price, and in a great location. Breakfast is excellent I can recommend it for a family vacation

The bed had crumbs and stains, the whole place did not feel clean and the manager was difficult to communicate with.

nothing, worthless. Mold everywhere, dust on the floor, bathroom still dirty, hair in the bathroom. Bad manager, he knows nothing to tell you. Booked for 6 people but can only sleep 5 people. Have to pay extra room. 😡😡😡😡😡😡

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Manuka Hillwood Hotel during my trip to Nuwara Eliya, Sri Lanka, and it was truly a delightful experience. My room at the Manuka Hillwood Hotel was comfortable and well-appointed, offering all the necessary amenities for a pleasant stay. The bed was cozy and provided a good night's sleep, and the ensuite bathroom was clean and spacious. Moreover, the room's large windows allowed me to wake up to stunning panoramic views of the surrounding hills every morning. One of the highlights of my stay was the delicious food served at the hotel's restaurant. The on-site dining experience was exceptional, offering a variety of Sri Lankan and international dishes. The meals were prepared with fresh, locally-sourced ingredients, and the flavors were truly delightful. The restaurant's setting, overlooking the hillside, created a serene atmosphere that complemented the dining experience. The hotel's well-maintained garden provided a serene spot to relax and take in the natural beauty of the area. Additionally, the terrace area offered a perfect vantage point to enjoy the stunning sunsets over the hills, making it a memorable and peaceful experience. Manuka Hillwood Hotel's location is ideal for exploring the attractions in Nuwara Eliya. It's within a short drive from popular places such as Gregory Lake, Victoria Park, and the scenic tea plantations.

Property is located in the best location in Nuwara Eliya, its uphill and extremely quiet place just few minute walk from city. This is truly a place for family and friends. Rooms are big with comfortable beds, we have been greeted by hotel manager Ruwan, he is an excellent host and friendly personality. Best thing about the hotel is its near the lake and accessibility to all known famous excursions are just minutes away which saves your travel budget and moreover its uphill location gives a true nature breeze and soothing birth music in the morning.
