Rizoma Guesthouse

This small hotel and restaurant in the mountains of Greece was a warm friendly and comfortable place in which to explore the surroundings. It is family run and managed. The home cooked food is from the family recipes developed by the matron of the house, cooked by the sons and overall manged by the father. The room had a tremendous view from the two balconies, where one could breath the fresh air and enjoy the winter sunshine - Not to be missed!!

i cannot think of one thing, it was great

The location is great and the views are stunning, but you MUST have a car. The fireplace was burning at all times and it made the lobby supremely cozy. The staff were also exceptionally accommodating. They go above and beyond to help you.

The lighting at the staircase is a bit lacking and the decor is uncoordinated at places.

Rizoma is in a great location, with an amazing view: the pictures can't do justice to the beautiful sights of the rooms and the patio! The rooms were super clean, and smelled beautiful. There is also a restaurant at the place, with great food and cozy atmosphere to relax. Last and most importantly, the hosts are super hospitable and nice. Kudos and keep up the great work! Thank you for hosting us 🙂

Everything was as advertised. The staff is very friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The restaurant has excellent service and delicious options for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and everything in between. We especially enjoyed drinking hot mountain tea and taking in the amazing views of Megalo Chorio and the surrounding area. Great value for money. Would visit again.
