Great location, lovely staff, exceptional breakfast. Being able to park right outside room and walk into town in a few minutes was priceless.

The room was lovely and spacious with all the required facilities and a comfortable bed. The staff was courteous and friendly. The breakfast buffet was excellent, and there was a cooked breakfast provided, which was excellent. The decor of the rooms and the overall hotel was quaint and pleasant. The location is very near the Bowness Pier and buses to Windermere and everywhere else.

Housekeeping was incomplete on the 2nd day, with cups left unwashed and bath and supplies not replaced. Also, there are no lifts to the upper floors, so that should be kept in mind before booking.

"Location was good, however the room wasn’t god at all, really dirty carpet."
