Hotel Meerz

Perhaps the first time I have stayed at a hotel in India where the room was nicer than pictured. Well accommodated, comfy bed, easy check in. Restaurant was ok, but no complaints.

The location is a little sketchy. Not dangerous, but not the best for pedestrians and about 20 minutes walk away from Dal Lake.

It tasted very bad

The room was unhygienic and there were stains on bedsheet and the washroom tiles had plague on them

Great breakfast...staff were fantastic...location was great very close to a lot of the touristic places...its a small hotel but worth coming back to...very comforrable. I would certainly recommend this hotel to my friends.

Internet connection wasnt great...we needed to log in several times a day.

Starting from the gate keepers to front desk officials to the House Keeping staffs to the team in restaurants were extremely - naturally - courteous. Those who stayed there will realise that everyone of them did not act to be courteous - they were as it is by nature. I travelled a lot for the past 7 years and stayed in many 4 / 5 star accommodation all over the Asia. This Hotel Meerz given as the royal service - this is being the service industry, they stand high all of the hotels I stayed so far. I stayed for 3 nights in Sep-23. My spouse fell sick in the mid night of the 2nd day. I called the front desk official - they immediately arranged a car to take us to a nearby 24 hours hospital to get the treatment. During the treatment time (it is around 1 AM to 3 AM) a staff from Hotel Meerz with us all along till we come back hotel safely. This is exceptional per say - more than the service - a humanism-in-built with one and every staffs in Hotel Meerz. I strongly recommend to choose and experience what I say so far yourself.
