Albergo Roma

*I liked that Giovanni messaged me back that I could come earlier than check in time and leave my luggage securely until check in time. *Giovanni offered to order a taxi for me the next morning, which was helpful, so I didn't have to figure out how to communicate with the taxi company. *the patio outside my room was lovely, although weather was a bit too cool for me take advantage! *the location in relation to the city center was awesome! right across the street. *thanks to the daycare center staff member, Greta, who helped me locate and translated my request to a clergy at the church *the breakfast offerings were very good and open early enough for me to take part before getting off to my train *the staff in the restaurant and a patron having breakfast were instrumental in getting me a taxi in the morning as the one I thought was ordered did not come.

*wifi access was not given to me at check in, instead of my having to ask for it through a message *the taxi did not show up at 8 am as I thought I had arranged with Giovanni & there was no facility staff around to help with this in the morning. *the location from the train station turned out to be a bit long for me...and uphill, with no sidewalks or shoulder on much of the walk. If I'd known, I would have taxi'd to Albergo Roma.

Excellent location for us as we were visiting relatives close by & parking was outside hotel. Clean comfortable room and breakfast was good

Poor breakfast, bathroom not in good conditions. A/C had to be requested to b turned on… The hotel is nice but it needs a lot of maintenance

Our shower was not working , broken dials and no temperature control. Breakfast was very poor . We stayed for one night , when we returned from dinner we asked the bar for two espressos that we could enjoy on the front terrace , only to be told by the bar man that he had just cleaned the coffee machine, so no.. it was 9.30pm ! It's like they couldn't be bothered. I have worked in hospitality all my life and to make a coffee would have taken seconds . We
