"Great apartment but aweful owner"

5.0

Great location near the emerald beach. Walking distance to aquarium

Unfortunately the agressive owner spoiled a big part of the experience. He sent us messages through the night threatening us to evict us to call the police just because we came with our kids and only put 2 adults on booking (they were indeed only 2 adults). He has sneakily watched on hidden camera that we had 5 young kids (3 kids under 6 and one 9 year old and one 11 year old). He first said kids under 6 are free then he asked us to pay 75000 yens extra for the kids in cash or he’d kicked us out. He came early morning rang the bell many time not given us even time to jump into clothes to open the door. We were stuck and forced to pay after 30mn of bargaining 25000 yens in cash of course. And guess what the size of the apartment didn’t change he just wanted cash. He spoiled a big part of the experience. Really bad. First time in 6 weeks in Japan we’ve come across an owner so agressive (normally kids are welcome)
