Hotel Hachiman

The breakfast buffet was good with a decent selection of Japanese breakfast items. There are also extra pillows that you can get with samples showing different types and thickness. It's about 10 mins walk away from the Omihachiman station. Location and room was quiet.

The room layout is a bit weird with the bathroom being elevated a bit from the room. They would deliver new pajamas and towels at the door every day which I think was a bit excessive for our 3 day stay. The hotel is quite old but tidy enough.

Very closed to JR station. The bathroom and toilet are very clean

The dryer in laundry room might be a difficulty to the guest who uses it at the first time. 1. insert coins. 2. press the stop button 3. open the door of the dryer 4. press the power Otherwise, the dryer won't work

They allowed us to park our car before the check in time.

Could have had a shower curtain. My towel got soaked before I could use it. Also the switch by the bed turned off the lights but also turned off the plug where I was trying to charge my phone.

Room size and service

The hotel exceeded my expectations. The room was larger than I had guessed, and everything was clean and modern. We were only passing through, but we had a great experience here.

The beds were pretty firm, and the pillows weren't very comfortable. This seems kind of common across Japan though.
