Hotel Mark-1 Tsukuba

Location is excellent. Very neat and clean. Very co-operative supporting staff.

Room size is little bit smaller for a couple. Should be little bigger.

Near by station, restaurants and mall. Clean rooms, great public bath and reasonable prices.

The hotel has an onsite onsen, I had no idea when I booked it so it was a really nice surprise. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There is coin laundry available and lots of vending machines. It is very close to the Kenkyu-Kakuen station and many restaurants and bars as well as the large shopping mall.

The breakfast was gone very fast so I recommend getting up early to make the most of it.

Extremely clean and pleasant. There was construction on the whole building during my stay, but there was hardly any noise and it did not bother me during my trip. The hotel is also convenient for taking the TX line to Akihabara to transfer to Tokyo or any bus lines. The staff was extremely nice and friendly despite my limited Japanese, they also always had free samples like loofas and skin care.
