Very friendly staff who take care of us all the time. Free car ride to the city and back. Good location by the river if you’re preferring peace of mind and quiet.

The resort has a lot of potential. The beds were very comfortable, there’s a nice view of the river, and there are plenty of cozy spots to relax. The guy at the reception is very nice.

However, it is not living up to the potential at all. Strangely, there were no other guests, even though it is high season. It is also very far from the city center, and there are no restaurants at or near the resort. There were many issues during our stay: 1. Airport pickup: A resort driver was supposed to pick us up from the airport as this included in the booking. They had my name and flight number, yet when we arrived, there was no driver anywhere. We had to arrange and pay for a taxi ourselves. 2. Room problems: First, they tried to give us a room with a double bed instead of the twin room we had booked. Then we were moved to a room where the bathroom had huge inward-facing windows with no curtains or blinds — meaning you’d have a full panoramic view of the toilet and shower from the bed. They offered us another room, which we accepted, but there the drains were clogged, the air-conditioning remote didn’t work, and long black hairs were everywhere. 3. Breakfast: There were no breakfast options. We were given pork pho, and that was the only thing available.

1. Took a very long time to confirm the booking, the reception couldn't see any bookings from Hotels.com. 2. Room looks ok at first glance, but ALOT of dust and filth everywhere, only cleaned the most obvious places. 3. Got hungry around 21:30 and figured we would take our bike from the resort to the night market in Luang Prabang, to our surprise the gate to the hotel area was closed and it was not possible to get out. Nobody from the hotell staff was in the resort and we couldn't reach reception even by phone. Went to sleep hungry that night. 4. By the day of the arrival I asked reception if they would be able to book train tickets for us from Luang Prabang to Vang Vieng. No problem they said, just come to the reception the day before departure and we will arrange tickets for you. Day before departure I go to the reception in the early morning and tell them to arrange the train tickets, I get the response that its fully booked and I need to look at other options, even though they assured me at day 1 that they would fix it for me. Had to take a bus from LP to Vang Vieng instead, which wasted half a day.
