The room smelled like mold & as if the room was a smokers room for years, very pungent smoke smell.

Location right in the old town center. If you are into nostalgia and vintage, this is the place for you! That was my case. If not, honestly better consider alternatives. With the help of a translator the staff can help you to find the right solutions. Good wifi

Water supply in the room smelled pretty sulfuric and with a shortage one morning, otherwise good pressure. No shower curtain. Grinding soviet style toilet paper after 2 days becomes a nightmare. Scarse lightning sources in the room (only one chandelier on the ceiling) If you get a room giving on the main street it may be noisy without ear-plugs

Good location

This was a disgraceful hotel, and worse than advertised. I booked a room with a shared bathroom. What I did not expect was to be directed to a bathroom on another floor to have a shower, where there was two cubicles with no doors or shower curtains. This one shower bathroom is shared between dozens and dozens of rooms. It also did not appear clean.

It was comparatively cosy.

The form of a bill had the head marking that this form was issued by Russian Federation.
