The Glenrock Wellness Nature Resort

This place is heaven. Such a beautiful location. The staff were all incredible. They were all so accommodating and made us feel so welcome. Food was the best we had in our two week stay in Sri Lanka. A must stay if you are going to Belihuloya.

Exceptional place. Idyllic setting. Stylish spaces and rooms, maximising natural experience. Right next to beautiful stream, lovely for swimming.

It is a bit of an effort to get to.

I have some favourite properties around the world that stay in the memory after you leave, they all have something in common with Glenrock though. Accommodation set within a beautiful natural environment that offers peace and tranquility without the big hotel feel. There are also great dining options and nothing is too much trouble to ensure you have a memorable stay. After twelve days exploring the culture and nature of north and central Sri Lanka this was a perfect place to wind down before heading to the hustle and bustle of the south coast for my final week. The property was recommended by fellow travellers shortly after I arrived in Sri Lanka and I honestly can’t thank them enough. As with the other properties I mentioned (Glen Oaks, Big Sur CA / Pumphouse Point, Tasmania / Milia Mountain Retreat, Crete) I will do everything in my power to return.

Remote location allows for a feeling of having escaped from normal holiday trail. Surrounded by trees with a fabulous outlook in all directions. Staff couldn’t be more helpful. Loved the personal approach rather than corporate systems.

Guests immediately feel welcome because everyone working here creates a warm and comfortable atmosphere . The foot is another highlight offering delicious dishes prepared with freshness and great care . From local specialities to International Cuisine every meal is presented with quality and taste . The peaceful environment makes it easy to relax and enjoy every moment of the stay. What makes the hotel truly unique is the kindness and dedication of the people who work there. A stay at Glenrock hotel becomes not just a vacation but a memorable experience full of comfort and beauty.

Alles Top Wer es nicht mag mitten in der Natur zu sein und dauernd das Rauschen eines Bergbaches zu hören, sollte hier einfach nicht buchen.
