Organic Garden Resort Sigiriya

Super vriendelijke eigenaren die alles voor ons wilden doen. Zalig zwembad en rustig gelegen familiebedrijf. Zicht op de rocks van op ons terras. 20 minuten rijden voor de prachtige beklimming. Dinner en ontbijt waren gevarieerd en werden met liefde bereid.

Eigenlijk was alles top maar als ik dan toch iets moet zeggen, dan is het dat de wifi niet altijd even sterk was.

Great pool, always clean and plenty of loungers. Staff were very friendly and helpful for anything we needed. Food was very good, we ate dinner 4 out of 5 nights at organic garden resort. The breakfasts were great with fruit, fresh fruit juice, omelette, toast, and they changed the local cuisine part of breakfast every day. Very helpful in arranging transport, jeep for safari and giving advise. The family room we had was great too with separate room with single beds for the 2 kids, and queen bed in other room. They are expanding with building occurring so may have new arrival area and other rooms soon. It was no problem for us as was nice to have rural views of rice paddies and lion rock and nice and quiet, but note it is not located in town, but only a 10min walk to the main road, or a tok tok is easily available to get to restaurants (but the food at organic garden resort is so good the majority of dinners we ate there). Would definitely come back.

Het hotel wordt gerund door een super lieve familie, ze doen er alles aan om het je naar de zin te maken. Het ontbijt en de rice&curry waren fantastisch! En het uitzicht is ook top!

Eine schöne Unterkunft mit einem tollen, sauberen, neuen Pool. Das Zimmer an sich war mit einem schoenen Blick auf die Umgebung. Jedoch wurde das Zimmer waehrend unseres mehrtaegigen Aufenthaltes nicht 1x gereinigt und wir fanden das Zimmer auch etwas vernachlaessigt. Schade, denn an sich eine schoene Unterkunft. Wir hatten uns unter Organic Garden etwas mehr vorgestellt. Dennoch, alle waren sehr freundlich. Den Kochkurs hatten wir gebucht, hat gepasst - leckere Speisen, allgemein gutes Essen.

Beautiful Pool. Family room was two adjoining rooms with two balconies. Quiet location. Fabulous staff, couldn’t do enough for us. Arranged laundry, tuk tuks, massages. Breakfast was amazing.

Can’t think of anything!

This was a great escape into rural life- Ajith is an absolute gem, full of information and good advice on things from tipping, what to see and ordering drivers is no problem. The entire team were super helpful, the pool was great and they opened the bar - just ask! Everything was clean and breakfast was huge, and very nice! We ate dinner twice and both times, very tasty and good value.

It was all great- just thought I'd mention, theres no fridge. (we didn't mind, just worth mentioning if you want to keep drink cold etc)
