Saffron Lake Yala

The staff were very attentive and helpful. Went above and beyond. Food was fantastic. Booked Bundula safari through them and it was amazing.

The staff, led by Umesh and Janaka were outstanding making us feeling exceptionally welcome. The food was homemade and delicious The rooms were spotlessly clean

We stayed here one night before our safari in Yala. Everything was fantastic! Late check-in, late check-out, and late breakfast after the safari were complimentary. We ordered a Western breakfast and a Sri Lankan breakfast—both were delicious. The rooms were spacious and very well equipped. The staff was 5-star. I highly recommend this place. It's a little off the main road, but you get more out of it.

Die Anlage ist wunderschön und idyllisch, allerdings weit weg von allem. Die Häuschen sind schön und gut ausgestattet. Die Angestellten ein Traum - so freundlich und bemüht! Wir wurden herzlich empfangen. Und wurde sogar ein Lunchpaket für die Safari vorbereitet und als es mir nicht gut ging wurde angeboten, für mich zur Apotheke zu fahren.

Zusätzlich gebuchte Aktivitäten konnten wir nur bar bezahlen.

AMAZING. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, great wifi and even better dinner. The staff were so helpful and lovely to talk to. Cant recommend enough.

We had the most amazing stay at Saffron Lake Yala. We loved every moment and wished we could’ve stayed longer. The area is so peaceful, and the hotel is very clean. The beds were very comfy and the food was delicious. We also saw crocodiles in the lake by the hotel. What really made our stay was the people. They were all so kind, willing to help us, and thoughtful throughout our stay. Janaka especially was so professional throughout and went above and beyond for us during our stay. What an amazing human being!! He is so hard working and nothing was a problem. We enjoyed our chats with him very much, and he told us lots of information about the fruit they grow at the property and the local area. He really made all the difference and makes us want to revisit again in the future. Thank you for such a good stay!

The Staff were excellent. I am Gluten intolerant - the chef went out of his way to make sure I had food that was delicious He made me a lunch for the Safari - really good salade It was really appreciated

This is a small modern property close to Yala National Park. The properties are individual in nature which means that there are a small number of the guests. It was very restful sitting on the veranda watching the wildlife and occasionally strolling down to the Lakeside. Although we were often the only guests food was served beautifully and on time it just needed to be ordered prior to the meal. The staff couldn’t do enough for us especially Umesh who made us stay very pleasant.

Because of the nature of the property, it is fairly isolated and so there isn’t anywhere to go walking out to.

Resort affacciato sul Saffron Lake a due passi dal Parco nazionale di Yala. Resort molto curato con ampie camere immerse nel verde che si affacciano sul lago e offre tramonti mozzafiato con possibilità di fare anche Bird Watching. Il ristorante all’aperto offre dei pasti veramente squisiti e anche di un certo livello. Tutto questo reso possibile dal lavoro impeccabile del ragazzo che abbiamo incontrato alla nostra accoglienza si trova se reception che a fare il cameriere, ad esempio nel ristorante ci ha accolti e fatti sentire a casa una persona veramente eccezionale.
