Udman Hotel Greater Noida

Breakfast is very good. Location is very good. Staff is good.

When we entered the room, it was smelling bad with Cigarette Smoke. There was an issue with Flush - No water was coming. It was fixed once and issue happened again so had to call again to fix.

1. The property was nice and aesthetic from the inside. 2. Rooms were fairly sized and had the basic amenities with a kettle and fridge which were useful. 3. The breakfast buffet menu had a lot of varieties and the food was nice.

The check-in wait time was very long, I reached by 11:55 and got the room at 1:20, almost took 1.5 hours to get a room. Granted I reached a bit earlier than the hotels check in time which is 2pm but I had requested for an early check in before hand in chat. However, I didn't get a reply to the message until after half hour of reaching the property. Also the staff kept saying I will get it in 5 mins or 10 mins each of the 4-5 times I had to ask them for a status on my room. Would have appreciated if they could have told me that it's going to take 1.5 hour and they don't have any rooms available for an early check in, so that instead of waiting and asking every 10mins at the lobby I could have gone and done something else which would have been productive and a better use of my time or perhaps gone to explore the nearby attractions of the city. Also there is a open sewer just beside the parking so that was kind of smelly + it seemed like there were construction activities going or something of that sort because I could hear labourers just outside my room window talking and working not sure if they were cleaning the windows from the outside or what but that created some unwanted noise disturbances and hindered my sleep in the afternoon. Felt like they were inside my room and talking to be honest, and it was like that for about 30-40 minutes in the afternoon.
