Hotel Sonnenburg

Die Lage war super. Das Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Essen im Hotel ist ebenfalls sehr empfehlenswert. Man kann vom Hotel aus sehr gut wandern, alles ist in der Nähe, auch Meran ist in wenigen Gehminuten oder mit dem Bus erreichbar.

Wir buchten die Sonnenburg unter anderem wegen ihrem außergewöhnlichem Wellnessbereich. Der neue Außenpool mit den bequemen Sonnenliegen ist super geworden und passt perfekt zu der gepflegten Gartenanlage. Die Zimmer sind absolut sauber und auch das professionelle Servicepersonal muss erwähnt werden. Die Gastgeber sind jederzeit ansprechbar und haben immer einen Tipp für Ausflüge oÄ parat. Man fühlt sich einfach wohl und gut aufgehoben. Eine Atmosphäre die wir sehr schätzen.

Lovely and super friendly staff. Great breakfast with lots of different choices also healthy ones and from local suppliers. We loved the spa and the delicious fine dinner! The free bus ticket is a great plus if you would like to do day trips to Bolzano or nearby towns! 100% recommended

The Hotel Sonnenburg may have been our luckiest last minute decision. The pool and garden are beautiful and they have a fantastic large spa. Our room was large, very clean and comfortable with a balcony looking out over Merano. We were so glad we decided to try the half board option. Breakfast and dinner were amazing and the service was topnotch. Special thanks to Patrick, the owner, for such an accommodating stay. His suggestions of what to do and where to go, hiking etc. were so helpful. Hopefully we can return someday to this most beautiful region in the Dolomites.

nice hotel to use as a base to explore merano and surroundings without being in the center. easy to park on site. Staff were super friendly and breakfast and dinner were very nice as we prefer to stay in hotel once we back from hiking
