Friendly host.

Many things (door, no mirror in the bath, fan) were partially broken.

Very friendly stuff, amazing breakfast and positive vibes. Spacious rooms with opportunities to put your stuff.

Fine hotel, ac works passably and it’s clean.

There’s no one on site and they don’t answer their phones so prepare to wait to both check in and to collect your luggage if you leave it. I made sure to let them know I would return to pick up my bags at a specific time, since I went to the fantastic beach just across the road one last time, and was assured it was no problem. However I sat for a literal HOUR repeatedly calling them and trying to make contact so I could be let me back in. I contemplated breaking a window, but decided to walk to a neighboring hotel to see if they knew how to get in touch. Luckily, the woman I spoke with was related to the owners and was able to call them AND have them pick up the phone within 10 minutes. Would not stay again.

The stat here was super nice and peaceful Plus we got to use the kitchen and spend lots of yoga time in the balcony with a sea view.

The train passes by during the day right next to the property - the sight is amazing, but it sounds like a train is passing by

There is a party on saturdays and it last until the Morning. Not easy to sleep

Very nice common balcony, rooms are spacious, there is ac, a fan and a mosquito net. Beach is nearby.

Location is quite far from the city and almost on the tracks, although there are a few restaurants around. We also drove our Tuktuk to kabalana beach to surf. On Saturday, a bar right next to it played super loud music till 5 am but it’s not the hotels fault. No shop near.

This place is run by very nice family. They make very good breakfast if you ask and pay extra! Clean and nice rooms, good ac and hot water. Location is perfect, close to beach and good restaurants. Would definetly come again thanks!

Spent two nights at Swiss Lankan. Well maintained, super comfortable rooms within minutes from Kabalana beach. Friendly owners and excellent breakfast. The hotel is by the train tracks but the sound was not disturbing at all. Fully recommend the stay

The hosts are super friendly! They can provide breakfast too. You can purchase drinking water & coffee at a fair rate. The room is basic but it's well priced and it has a good location. 5 minutes walk from the beach.

No shower gel provided. Only one soap for handwashing. I got injured in the shower cause the shower head doesn't fit the holder and fell on my eye, giving me a blue eye for the holiday XD There is no drinking water available to refill your bottle. Close to the train track, keep in mind if you are a light sleeper. There is no washing machine other than the booking says. But the host can do your laundry for you.
