Coconut Island Yala

Super welcoming host, who has created a little paradise from the botttom of his heart. Very humbled and peaceful place to stay at in the middle of a stunning green piece of land, in front of a rice field. Near to the city center though. Room has everything you need.

Good location for safari’s Wonderful host!!

Super friendly host, who also cooked us a nice Sri Lankan dinner both nights and got up very early to prepare our breakfast for our safari. Room was nice and comfortable.

Very nice accommodation, large bedroom and large bathroom with a nice terrace. The host is very welcoming and cooks super well! We had a great time. And best wifi in Sri Lanka !

Beautiful tree house, great location and delicious food! Lahl built this place and takes care of it single handedly, he welcomes you with fresh juice and makes sure you stay goes perfectly. Lahl cooked amazing food for us every night we were there and the breakfast are outstanding. Better than any hotel we were in tbh. We were so lucky to choose this place, it really added so much to our experience. Thank you so much!

My tuk tuk broke on my way to the hotel. I called him, and he came over to help me reach the hotel. He even helped to get my tuk tuk repaired. He's such a dedicated guy. Mr. Lal. He is a wonderful chef as well. The room is big enough to accommodate 3 people. The view is excellent.....

Good location, walking distance from bus stand and the city but in a calm area. Very convenient to go to Yala safari. Owner is very nice. Food is very good (we had rice & curry dinner twice and breakfast) and served in a lovely garden with nice view.

+ a bit outside the busy town + green rice fields at backyard + friendly owner, very good chef also :)

- door/terrace unfortunately is facing the street not backyard - you hear everything trough the walls - toilet has only curtain to room, so odours appear

The room was much more beautiful and bigger than expected. Very comfortable and lots of space. Also the bathroom is huge. Lovely balcony and garden to chill and look over the rice fields. Host was very kind and ready for any questions we had. We had one breakfast and one lunch, he buys everything fresh and it was very good food. Overall very nice stay!

Wi-Fi was not great, often did not work but we think that is just normal here haha
