Incredibly unpleasant experience; desk manager in particular seemed to enjoy causing conflict, at one point snatching an item from my hand so violently it broke - while I was trying to pay her. General manager secretly recorded me and refused to delete the recording. I was then told they record all conversations with guests, so be careful here. Very poor-quality and scarcely available food - mainly instant noodles. Multiple complaints to booking.com still unanswered. - Issues began as soon as I arrived. I rang the number on the booking.com confirmation and asked if food could be provided. The manager became immediately hostile, saying I had to text ahead to book food, and that my booking did not include meals or hot water. There’s no option on booking.com to book a room with a meal plan or hot water. When I pointed this out, and told the manager what he’d told me on the phone didn’t appear to be true, he called me a liar and to my horror, played the phone conversation we had had back to me. He had recorded the call secretly, without my consent. The desk manager confirmed they record all conversations with guests ‘as proof’. I was then told ‘my kind’ wasn’t wanted. When I checked out I was presented with two separate bills and thus needed to make two payments. The desk manager became incensed at this, screamed at me, and, inexplicably, threatened to call a company in the town to complain about me. I am not associated with this company, so this was particularly worrying. Staff refused to delete the recording.

An average hotel with slightly above-average price. Location was good, and staff friendly and helpful.

Hotel needs to work on few things - swimming pool was below average with no shower or changing facilities. Room's toilet door was broken!

The information on booking.com was incorrect. The restaurant was closed. The pool was open, but not clean.

Excellent Customer Service and well maintained rooms for flexible stay. Thanks a lot for the manager and room boy.
