Mangrove Beach Chalets

Tout. C’est un endroit paradisiaque , confortable et tranquille . Les chalets sont très propres et belle décoration . Les 2 lits doubles sont séparés d’un petit mur ; la douche et les WC sont séparés , ce qui est rare au Sri Lanka. Le bar de la plage est fabuleux pour prendre les petits déjeuners et les repas. On ne se lasse pas de cette vue sur l’océan indien et des plats savoureux servis par un personnel tellement sympathique . C’est un endroit où il fait bon chiller un peu, faire de grandes promenades sur la longue plage déserte , prendre son bain dans la piscine naturelle située juste devant le bar et surveillée par le personnel attentif ou faire du canoë sur la mangrove. Endroit éloigné mais incroyable .

The food was amazing at the little restaurant right on the beach, the accommodation was clean and immaculate, loved the location, we thoroughly enjoyed our one night there, as it was a nice break from the hustle and bustle of being on the road, it was peaceful and the accommodation was right on the beach. Loved it.

Because the beach is hard to swim at, it would be great if one day Mangrove Chalets could investigate in a pool, but everything else was top notch.

This is the perfect beach getaway. The bungalows under the palm trees, I fell in love with this place immediately and we would have loved to stay longer! Rooms/furniture a bit outdated here and there, but overall one of our favourite resort during 1 month sri Lanka! nice beach restaurant with great food. I will come back for longer next time!

Amazing location right on the beach at the Eastern end of Tangalle. Good rock pool out the front of the accommodation makes it a safe spot to swim for kids and adults. Restaurant is decent, not the best we ate at, but very tasty still for a meal and a great location. Definitely would recommend staying here!

We did have a bug in our room one night but that is a function of the location - by the beach. There are bug nets on all windows so they have put all the right precautions in place.

Paradise! The grounds surrounded by palm trees were unreal and it felt like we had the whole beach to ourselves. Lovely shallow swimming area protected from the waves. It feels very remote and quiet in the area. Wish we were staying longer! Staff were fantastic. Kayaks for the lagoon were free to use. Room was a good size compared to others, comfy beds.

Breakfast was ok, not the best. Need a fridge in the rooms to store water and wifi would be good in the rooms.

Absolutely amazing place to stay - exceeded our expectations. Quiet location, beautiful setting by the beach, loved being able to walk out at sunrise or sit out at sunset. Not overwhelmed with guests. Friendly staff and good menu. Brilliant.
