This hotel is fantastic, you have everyhting : a cute bridge under mangrove which will bring you to the wonderfull beach with his almost private bar/restaurant in front of the ocean where the food is amazing. The staff at the bar provide you really good advices, don't hesitate to ask, they are kind and they know much more than any book guide or blog. You have the oppportuniy to swim at the ocean just in front of the bar ! Your chalet is cute and very comfortable, quite big actually for a couple, and mostly the entire area is really calm. It is a paradise place to relax, really one of the best hotel so far in my life.

If the breakfast could be a bit more original and tasty as all food at the bar/restaurant, this place would be absolutely perfect !

Das Mangrove Beach Chalet war eines unserer Highlights auf unserer Sri Lanka Rundreise. Die Bungalows sind direkt am wunderschönen Palmengarten und tollen Strand. Früh morgens konnten wir hinter unserem Haus die Äffchen und Warane beobachten. Es gibt auch wie in Sri Lanka üblich Hunde auf dem Areal aber die waren alle total lieb. Frühstück war lecker und wird im Restaurant direkt am Strand serviert. Der Ausblick aufs Meer ist traumhaft

Tout était parfait. Endroit magnifique, chambre très confortable et très propre, sous les cocotiers et littéralement sur la plage , accès sécurisé pour profiter de la baignade dans l’océan, bar/resto très agréable et avec de la nourriture de qualité à des prix abordable. Superbe mangrove attenante à l’établissement et possibilité d’utiliser kayaks gratuitement.

Tout était parfait

Le cadre est vraiment exceptionnel ! Les pieds dans le sable pour tous les amoureux de la nature et du calme. Un décors paradisiaque. Le restaurant est très bon et le personnel très sympathique. Des kayaks sont à disposition pour découvrir la mangrove adjacente.

Les bungalows dont la décoration est assez sommaire. Il ne suffirait pas de grand chose pour faire de cet endroit un 5*

Die Lage ist einfach traumhaft! Die Bungalows sind praktisch eingerichtet und liegen angenehm weit auseinander. Die Beachbar ist preislich ok, qualitativ wirklich gut und der Service top!

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Stranbungalow, ein paar Schritte zum Meer. Es war wirklich fantastisch. Der Bungalow war sauber, die Betten bequem und man ist umgeben von Palmen und Meeresrauschen. Dadurch, dass die Anlage nur 9 Zimmer hat, ist es sehr ruhig, nur einige Tagesgäste nutzen noch Strand und Restaurant. Das Frühstück im Strandrestaurant ist ebenfalls hervorragend und das Personal sehr bemüht und lässig! Da es wenige Alternativen in der Umgebung gibt, kann man ganztägig im Standrestaurant gut und recht preiswert essen.

Zweit Punkte, die es zu verbessern gäbe, wären: 1. Internet im Zimmer (keins vorhanden ) und besseres Internet im Standrestaurant. Da auch kaum Mobilfunkempfang vor Ort ist, ist man sehr "abgeschnitten" 2. Zu überdenken wären außerdem die 3% Kreditkartengebühr die seit kurzem in Sri Lanka eigentlich gesetzlich verboten wurden. Sonst zahlt man neben der Servicegebühr von 10% auf alles, noch 3 % Kreditkarten-Gebühren.
