Good location

The room was located nearby the roof/cafe where most people will walk literally outside your room. If you need privacy and early night, this is not the place to be.

Spacious, beautifully furnished rooms overlooking the sea. Staff went out of their way to make the stay perfect.

The western styled room made us feel really at home. The staff went above and beyond to help us. It’s great that you can pick breakfast from their cafe menu. They have a very nice (but pricey) surf shop downstairs.

The hot water was temperamental.

Place looks cool and the food is good. Room is pretty cozy. For breakfast you can pick from their regular menu, which was really nice.

The room I got was quite noisy (next to the cafe), they offered me another room but I had to pay extra, which did not feel very friendly. At least make sure your guests know the room they are booking is noisy, especially for this price. Cold shower (though this is common on the coast). They refused to help me book a tuktuk, which has never happened anywhere else in the country during my trip.

Nice balcony view! Clean and comfort room! Amazing food and fresh juices at the restaurant! Enjoy the dinner at rooftop with sea view! Try the Ceylon sliders bicycles for a ride at Weligama! Near to Weligama surf spots!!

very stylish property with very big rooms. breakfast was delicious!

it’s right in front of the busy and loud street. no beach access you need to walk, get a Tuk tuk or bike.

Smack in the middle of Weligama, with key landmarks a short walk or tuktuk ride away. CS is a minor local landmark popular with tourists and amateur surfing crowd for its location, cafe and general vibe. Just don’t expect an X-star hotel (the same applies to most places in Sri Lanka, no matter how high the rating is). It’s clean, it’s bright, there’s a shower and an A/C, the location is great, the view is great, the staff is great - that’s what you’ll get and that’s more than enough.

Tried using iron-and-wood bench as training weight - found out that it’s hollow legs were full of old and nasty-looking black water (rainwater, perhaps…) - so had to drain the benches and the table on the balcony (man there was a lot of water inside of them). So heads-up to the staff.
