Pool was nice

The electricity repeatedly cut out on numerous occasions, causing the air conditioning to stop working each time. In such a hot climate, this was extremely inconvenient and uncomfortable, especially while travelling with young children. Late one evening, we received a phone call asking whether we were coming for dinner. By that time, our children were already asleep, and the unnecessary call woke us up. This showed a complete lack of consideration for guests, particularly families with young children. The bathroom was also very dirty and clearly had not been cleaned to an acceptable standard. Finally, the front office was inconveniently located and difficult to find, making it unnecessarily frustrating whenever we needed assistance. The food and overall restaurant service were very average. Communication was often difficult, as many staff members had a very limited level of English. Breakfast was particularly disappointing. Although a breakfast buffet had been set up, we were never given the option to help ourselves or choose from it. Instead, we were simply served a very limited selection with no alternatives offered. Our child was offered only an extremely sweet breakfast cereal, with no juice, fruit, pastries, or other child-friendly options. When we asked for fresh milk for our coffee, we were told that they did not have any available—even though fresh milk was clearly being served with the breakfast cereal. Instead, we were offered a sachet of powdered milk, which was simply unacceptable. What made the experience even more disappointing was that another table was served a traditional Sri Lankan breakfast with a much wider variety of dishes, while we were never offered those options or informed that we could choose from a different menu. The inconsistent service left us feeling that we were treated differently from other guests.

On était bien placé pour les éléphants pour les visites

On avait un Varan bloqué entre le toit de l’extérieur et le toit de l’intérieur de notre chambre qui faisait énormément de bruit, et un gros cafard qui était dans la chambre. La piscine n’était pas propre du coup au lieu de faire deux nuits, j’ai fait qu’une nuit et on a quitté l’hôtel

It felt empty and a bit unfinished but it was the off season

We spent most of our stay at the villa in hospital. The staff called often to check on us as they were worried .

Can say anything as we didn’t depend enough time

We stayed here to see the elephants in pinnawalla, once the elephants had gone around 5pm it was like a ghost town. The hotel staff were great, due to things going on in the world the hotel was very quiet but despite them wanting to close at 10pm they allowed us to stay on the upper floor of restaurant & enjoy the evening. Breakfast was good in the morning.

The chef were so kind and preparing Fresh and nice food whenever is requested Nilson Laksry And Asanka Both were so supportive The whole staff, cookers, cleaners, supervisors at reception and the rest were so nice to my kids and my family

Nothing

Everything was just lovely! The cottage, the pool, the food, the location just next to the elephant orphanage, such nice and helpfull members of staff!! Thank you so much!

Die Lage ist toll, die Nähe von den Elephanten, die Aussicht auf Reisfelder und der Garten um den Pool herum. Auch die Aussicht aus dem Restaurant ist schön. Man kann viele Vögel beobachten, Spornkuckucke (Coucal), Papageien, Pfaue... Und bei Dämmerung fliegt eine Unmenge an Flughunden vorbei. Wir waren 2 Nächte dort und waren sehr zufrieden.
