Palace Mirissa

Location was lovely, at the top of a hill with views of the bay and ocean

Lack of transportation from the property. Also being on top of a hill makes accessibility difficult for less than fit people

The noise coming from the nearby clubs was terrible

Exquisite location on a cliff top overlooking Mirissa beach and the sea. From our room we saw peacocks and a black face monkey and so many birds and butterflies. The whole area is well treed and shady which means when you sit on your verandah you are catching cooling breezes. We enjoyed the colourful painted ceilings with their depictions of fish, animals and women. Room was a great size and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast is buffet style with a chef doing eggs to order. We really enjoyed our stay.

We loved it here the staff were absolutely fantastic. It is slightly older style the other hotels but that's what makes it so beautiful. You feel secluded in your own chalet with balcony that overlooks a reef break below. Would highly recommend as we extended our stay due to loving it so much.

I called twice for room service but no response from the reception and I had to go physically.

Up the hill from the busy strip. Privacy in the bungalows surrounded by leafy environs. Listen for peacocks and the songs of black-hooded orioles. Check out the ceiling paintings in the rooms and restaurant done by a local artist.

Loud bass boom from distant restaurants until 2 AM.

Amazing view to the see side. Large and beautiful territory. Clean and cozy bungalow. Very friendly personel. Really nice place to stay!

Road to the hotel should be renovated.
