Loved this hotel and location, a real hidden treasure on Sri Lanka's south coast. The room was lovely, the family were so helpful and friendly, some great food options within 5 minute walk. Pohlena beach is stunning!

Set in a quiet location, yet a couple mins walk from restaurants and bars, as well as easy access to busier spots like Mirissa, it's a great location! Family-run, right on the beach front and with great comfortable rooms, we were glad we chose to stay there. It's wonderful falling asleep with the sound of the waves and being so well looked after. Thank you for an amazing stay!

Our stay at LaPolena was amazing. The owners were very nice and helpful. They helped us organize transfer to and from the hotel. Breakfasts were delicious and served on the beach. The view from the room to the ocean was amazing and the beach was only for us. The owner's dad took us snorkeling with turtles, which was one of the best experiences during our stay. I definitely recommend it!
