Hotel Paradiso,

The location was perfect, away from the noise & buzz of Unawatuna. You could walk to both beaches, although quite hilly, as well as an excellent local restaurant called Grandgers and a laundry service. The breakfast was very nice and substantial, the bed was comfortable with quality sheets & it was very quiet. There was also a pool but we didn’t use it as we went to the beach each day.

We didn’t like the check in process. We felt it needed clearer clarification regarding payment for our stay. It should have been stated from the outset that it was an expectation that the stay be paid for upfront which would have been completely fine. However, as it wasn’t stated or outlined, we were then accosted quite abruptly by the female host at the end of breakfast the first morning of our stay and again the following morning. You don’t generally take money down to pay and settle your bill first thing in the morning, when you’re enjoying a relaxed breakfast with your family. It was a very muddled and poorly executed process. The bathroom needs a toilet roll holder, more storage, some shampoo & soap tray. The lock on the door was strange as it was at the bottom of the door. The female host was prickly and unfriendly during our stay. She did help arrange some tuk tuks on the last day which we appreciated but she didn’t say goodbye. She was the least welcoming and hospitable host we encountered during our 3 week stay in Sri Lanka. The other staff were very nice.

We particularly liked the quiet situation of the hotel, the huge swimming pool and a very comfortable large room with kitchen area. Phillip, Ransi & their staff were so kind and couldn’t do enough to help.

Прекрасный отель. Чисто и тихо. Вокруг джунгли - буквально райский сад. Работники отеля крайне приветливы и дружелюбны. Хорошие завтраки. Хозяева отеля всегда готовы помочь со всеми вопросами.

Находится на горе. Тук-тук стоит чуть дороже. Пешком подниматься не всегда удобно по жаре.

Номер был очень сырой,горячей воды не было,завтрак был очень скудный.Такого количества мух я не видел больше нигде.Отель был заявлен на уровне 4 звезды,я бы данному отелю даже 2 звезды не поставил бы.
